We are so excited to introduce this gorgeous custom designed product to our collection. Use this funky bamboo glass drinking jar to serve up your favourite juices/smoothies. The jar is sustainable, environmentally friendly to use, healthy, non-toxic and super cool! Suitable for hot drinks.

Material: Borosilicate Glass
Height: 13cm
Diameter: 6cm

If you select with straw, the jar will come with 2 bamboo straws, 1 cleaner and a cotton pouch.

Care Instructions: Please be careful with straws and throwing ice in the glass. The glass is fragile and it may crack upon impact.

Cleaning: Please ensure the product is left to dry between uses, if bamboo is left wet or in a moist environment it will eventually discolour and could go mouldy. 

To clean the mould you can try the following:

  • Pour distilled vinegar onto the mouldy surface and leave it to sit for an hour.
  • Wipe the area clean with water and allow surface to dry.
About bamboo

Bamboo is a natural material. Each piece is unique and will vary slightly in appearance. Colour variations occasionally occur in bamboo throughout its life, however, this is a natural characteristic and not a product defect. Bamboo can develop cracks due to rough handling and changes in weather. All our bamboo products are treated with a varnish providing a good coating on the surface of the product, giving it a soft sheen finish and protecting it from moisture. In saying that, as it is a natural product, the bamboo should not be washed or be left wet for a long period of time. 

DO NOT submerge bamboo in water. Only wipe with damp cloth then dry with a tea towel.

If your products do go mouldy, to clean use distilled vinegar to rub off the mould and leave it to sit for an hour. Wipe the area clean with water and allow surface to dry.

Glass Care

Please fill jars with caution, the heavy impact of some ingredients especially 500g fettuccine/spaghetti could break the bottom of the jar. Be careful when using sharp or hard objects in the glass. The glass is fragile and it may crack upon impact. Glass jars are dishwasher safe (without the vinyl label and bamboo lid) but hand washing is recommend.

I love the glass jar and the bamboo lid. Perfect size, exactly what I wanted. -But bamboo straws will take a bit to get used to. I don't like metal straws, so I thought bamboo will be better. (Which they are so far) I still prefer the feel of plastic straws. I'll keep at it though.
